Marist School’s Public Speaking Competition
In its sixth year the Marist School’s Public Speaking event was a great success. Chanel College, St. Mary’s and CUS were all extremely well represented on the day. The topic was ‘That homework should be banned’ and it proved to be well researched and articulated discussion. All participants were invited to lunch afterwards in the CUS canteen. Very well done to all of the public speakers, most notably the three winners and six runners up (pictured). Many thanks to the fourth and fifth year adjudicators, DiarmuidO’ hUallachain, Patrick Williams, Aaron Mc Gowan, Lorcan Garvey and Oisin Mc Williams, all from CUS.
